REVISED: Proposed Local Solar Law PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a Local Law has been introduced before the Town Board of the Town of Lyme to repeal and replace its current Solar Law within the Town.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that a public hearing in connection with the proposed legislation will be held at the Chaumont Fire Hall, located at 11385 NYS Route 12E, Chaumont, New York on September 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM. An opportunity to be heard in regard thereto will then and there be given to all persons interested in this proposed legislation.

FLUSHING HYDRANTS
The Town of Lyme will flush hydrants on Old Town Springs Road Monday August 11, 2025, Water Districts 1 & 5; Millens Bay Road and Cheever Road Tuesday August 12, 2025, Water Districts 1 & 4; and in Three Mile Bay Monday August 18, 2025, and Tuesday August 19, 2025, Water District 2. You may find discoloring in your water due to flushing. Please call the Town of Lyme with any questions 315-649-2788.
Public Notice
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Town of Lyme Town Board adopted the resolution listed below, subject to referendum at its Board Meeting on July 9, 2025.
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Lyme will transfer the amount of $986,551.49 from the Building Capital Reserve Fund for the purpose of opening a checking account for the Town Highway Garage project expenditures.
Any resident wishing to have this matter put to a referendum must submit a proper petition to the Town of Lyme Clerk within thirty (30) days of the date of the publication of this notice.
